HABITS OF THE RICH YOU NEED TO KNOW

HABITS OF THE  RICH
1. They meditate
Science says that meditation has a number of mental and physical health benefits, from improving memory to boosting the immune system. Jack Dorsey, CEO of both Twitter and Square, and media mogul Oprah Winfrey say that they practice meditation daily.

2. They wake up early
There may be some truth behind the age-old adage: The early bird gets the worm..
The wealthiest people tend to be early risers. Take Jack Dorsey, who wakes up at 5:00 a.m. to meditate and work out. Or Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, who wakes up at 5:45 a.m. to exercise before starting his workday.
Branson and Dorsey aren't the only successful people who wake up before the sun. In his five-year study of rich people, author Thomas C. Corley found that nearly 50% of rich people woke up at least three hours before their workday actually began.

3.They stick to routines

4. They live below their means. They are frugal in spending

5. They pursue their passion
Steve Job said, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it." Napoleon Hill, the author of Think and Grow Rich also said, "No man can succeed in a line of endeavor which he does not like."

6. They read, they don't watch TV
Many of the world's most successful people are avid readers. Warren Buffett has an estimated net worth of $69 billion. Warren Buffet spend 80% of his time daily reading. Also, Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg resolved to read a book every 2 weeks. I know some people read and never lead, but I haven't met a leader that sustain leadership position for a long time and that lead correctly without being a reader. Reading expand the mind and open you to a world of great possibility, many of us drop reading after school/college. You can't lead in this infomation age without reading or having readers working for you.
Thomas Corley found out that 67 percent of rich people only watch TV for one hour or less per day. Over 89 percent of the poor watch TV over one hour per day; the poor prefer entertainment to mental development.

7. They develop multiple streams of income
The richest people focus on earning — so it comes as no surprise that they develop additional streams of income.

8. They're self-employed
The fastest road to wealth is self-employment.
Mark Zuckerberg has been working for himself since age 19, when he first launched Facebook as a Harvard sophomore in 2004. Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, who is the youngest billionaire in the world, had a similar path — he created the popular photo-sharing app with two of his former Stanford classmates and has been his own boss ever since.

9. They exercise
I recommend early morning jugging, from my personal experience, it unclutters your mind. Hear what Science have to say about exercise: Working out can boost your memory, concentration, and mental sharpness.

10. They hang out with other successful people
Your networth mirrors the people you associate with. Birds of a feather flocks together.

11. They write to-do lists the night before.
Successful people are known for writing their to-do-lists the night before so that they are able to set priorities for the following day. They number their lists as well to identify which tasks are the most important.

NB: This Write-up is not to condemn yoyu, but to make you think of areas you can effect changes in your personal live and living that can boost your financial life. I'm TAIWO Israel Mayowa (timayor), a rising entrepreneur in the world of ICT, I fix laptop and sell laptop accessories. Please if you must copy, copy right. This took me energy and time to compile. See you rich!

Your Imagination: How Powerful!

Call it fantasies, imagination, thinking big or power of positive thinking, we are still talking of the same thing.
Imagination is like a Department in the Faculty of the mind where the seed of an idea can be cultivated which can later be developed, broadened or extended.
Using your mind to create weighty inventions that benefits humans, solve problems or make life easier for us here is very powerful and could get you unimaginable results.
Follow through this article and you will discover ways you can improve or renew your mind; the seat of all thoughts.
I read about a preacher that gave a newspaper advertisement in a renowbed Chicago newspaper thst he was going to preach on the next Sunday: "WHAT I WOULD DO IF I HAD A MILLION DOLLAR".

Have you ever though about that question or you think you can never have such huge amount of money. The problem is those who have never use their imagination in such ways find making such amount of money really difficult, if not almost impossible. You can't rise or climb in life above your dominant and consistent thoughts.
Let's see what happened to that creative Pastor. One rich man was just flipping through the pages of the newspaper during his leisure time and came across this captivating article. He decided to attend the church and hear out what this young Pastor has to say.
When he got to church that Sunday, the Pastor said what he would do if he had a Million dollar was to start a great school of technology where young men and women are thought practical things rather than theories that are irrelevant in the practical world. He so much passionately talked about learning by doing and been practical that the rich man that attended his service was convinced that the young Pastor knows what he was talking about. The rich man walk up to this Pastor on the pulpit, introduced himself and asked him to come for the One Million Dollar, the next day.

That was how Armour Institute of Technology was created in Chicago, one of the most practical school in the world. The school was born out of the imagination of a young man who is expected to just preach on Sunday, but who saw himself in a better light than just to stick to conventional practice, but affect his community.
He not only affect his community through using his imagination, but also make a lasting world impact.
I implore you to use your mind, use your imagination to create practical solutions to our national, societal and individualistic problems. We are the change that we desire, let's stop thinking the government alone can put an end to our economic and national problems.
I will say use your head!

#1 Use your head to get out of your economic/financial crisis

There is a saying that if you find yourself in a hole, then stop digging. When you fall into a ditch, whether accidentally, incidentally or willingly, the first sane thing to do is to think and take corresponding action of how to get out of the ditch.
Have you ever seen anyone inside a big dangerous ditch request for a digger so as to dig deeper? No sane person will do that!
What am I saying? That ditch or hole can be likened or compared to a debt. If you are in debt, the first and the best thing to do is to get out of it as soon as possible.
Don't go into more debt. It enslaves you and could kill you emotionally and physically. Debt is an heavy weight on your mind, if you still have an active conscience anyway, that paralyses you. Take care of it as early as possible so as to begin to make financial progress.

How do you get out of debt? Stop living a fake life, live at your level and stop the undue comparism and show-off habit that is rampant among poor people. Poor people want to own liabilities that they think are assets just to appear good before people; living to impress people.
The next thing is to cut down expenses to the barest minimum and increase income. Cut down expenses by "living small". Instead of going to the best boutique to get the latest fashion wears, why don't you look for a good and neat cloth selling point around (tokunbo wears).
Some African woman/ladies are in the habit of buying different clothes almost weekly or at least monthly for social occasion and many people have sold the future of their children just because of socialising or to be socially acceptable! That's crazy if you want to know the truth. Whether you agree with me or not, just wait for the next ten years when you will see the difference between your children and your neighbour's children whose mother are even selling their possessions to send their children to school!

#2 Use your head to get out of relationship troubles

We are social being and no man is an island, but there are challenges in relating with other human beings, either in friendship or in marriage.
Most relationship problems are just misunderstanding caused by differences in personality which in the first place is what brought us together. I have an habit of constantly using my mind to imagine what could piss off the other partner, what makes them tick and what ticks them off.
The alarming rate of divorce today in our society is grievous, and every young couple, intending ones and older couples shouldn't trivialise this fact.
